10 Random..

1. Use Vaseline on your hair line and ears when applying hair dye!

2. Use baby oil to remove stubborn mascara!

3. Try use pumps on products where you can (It makes the product last longer) If the bottle you have doesn't have a pump, try grab one of another bottle, like I've done here!

4. Keep sample/ miniature bottles and tubs for travelling! Why buy them when you probably have some hanging around?!

5. Get a spare battery for your phone! (You can buy battery's for most phones for a few pound on eBay)

6. Write stuff down! (It somehow improves memory I find)
7. RECYCLE! Don't just stick to cardboard and plastic. Sell or donate your unwanted items, one man's junk is another man's treasure after all!

8. Stay organised, don't just stick to the places you can see either. Tidy room, tidy mind.

9. Bulk buy when things are on offer (You'd think this was a no brainer, but there are some people who ignore those offers and end up spending twice as much as needed!)

10. Sign up to Freebie websites! Magic Freebies UK, Free Stuff World - They are worth the daily emails!

Hope you enjoyed/ found this somewhat helpful..

Winterlicious Tag

Our Tree :D

Favourite Winter Nail Polish..
I'm not a big nail polish wearer at the best of times, so don't really have a specific 'winter fav' But as red polishes go I do like No7 Salsa (Not sure if it's still available)

Favourite Winter Lip Product..

I don't tend to be very adventurous with lip products either, I like the o natural most of the time :) But a winter essential would have to be some kind of lip balm!

Most Worn Winter Clothing Item..

I don't have a separate summer/ winter wardrobe.. So this probably wouldn't differ from my most worn summer clothing item.. But I'd probably say my beige coat from Primark +My little black boots from Sainsbury's.

Favourite Winter Scent/Candle..
That would have to be what I currently have burning.. Yankee Candle in Black Cherry! I'm in absolute love!

Favourite Winter Beverage

(Maybe I shouldn't be doing this tag..) ..AGAIN, I don't have anything I drink more in winter than any other time of the year.. but I am a sucker for a creamy hot chocolate!

All time favourite Christmas/Holiday Movie..
Santa Clause The Movie (With Tim Allen) or Love Actually.

Favourite Christmas Song..

Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas.

What is your favourite Christmas Decoration this year?

I generally love Christmas lights.. any kind.. colourful, bright, shiny and pretty!

What is at the top of your Christmas List?
I didn't really ask for anything this year.. a new camera would be nice though.

What are your plans for the holidays this year?
For the first year ever, I'm going to my boyfriends to spend Christmas day with him and his family! Then back to see my dad, sister and their partners on Boxing day.

My 'Beauty Stash'

Not intro blah, I'm just going to jump straight into it..

Now I know most people, whether blogger, mother, teacher or movie star.. have a 'stash' of products lying around/ hidden away. But I just thought I'd share mine with you..
Now not all these are necessarily products I'm using/ have on the go. I purely have them to look at, I lie! That would be weird and pretty pointless right?! I have them because I don't exactly earn a lot of money, and hate hate HATE to run out of things, whether it be shampoo, body lotion, deodorant or more importantly Foundation & Mascara, and not be able to go out and get another! (Could you imagine running out and having to go out barefaced to buy another? I certainly can't!)

I try my hardest to grab things when they're on offer, so when I do come to the bottom of a bottle of something, I can jump in excitement that it's finally another thing finished up but at the same time.. I have a spare and don't need to go out with my last few pounds of the month to buy boring but necessary things.

So here's the fun part I guess, seeing what is actually in my 'stash'

^Most of these are sample sizes that either came in a GlossyBox or were in a gift set once apon a time. The Organic Surge isn't a mini or bath bomb (Obviously), it's just where it fits happily for now!

Some of these I've never tried, but I can't wait to bust them all open!

How many is too many?!

Just looking at all these makes my want to go pamper my face, I'm all for cheapish skincare.. whatever works for you eh?!

What can I say, cotton wool pads, foundation and false eyelashes.. Could you be anymore excited?! (Said like Chandler from Friends)

This is probably my fav section, hence the amount probably.. I just LOVE to wash my hair! It's so satisfying!

Do you have a stash? Beauty or food, I'd love to see ;)

Collective Haul; Part 2

So as you've probably gathered by the title, this is the second part of my 'collective haul' Showing you the clothes and other random bits I've picked up within the last few months.

Firstly I made my first order off boohoo, which I have to say I was very dissapointed with! I spent around £80 but had to send most of it back! (which I guess is good, as I'm awful with returns!)

Rhian Oversized Open Front Cardigan (L, Oatmeal) - £15

Bridget Striped Scoop Neck Vest x 3 - £2 each

Jasmine Studded Shoulder Swing Sweat Top (14, Oatmeal) - £10

Sonya Dip Hem Mixi Skirt (10, Grey) - £6
(sadly I went to iron this and found a hole in it, AFTER the allowed return date, not impressed but nothing I can do now!)
Hoping to get an OOTD with this at some point, if I ever get to go out!

I also popped into La Senza as they had a massive sale on!

I picked up 3 pair's of underwear to leave at the boyfriends reduced to £2 each! But I shant show them.

Pj Bottoms and plain pink T - Both reduced to £5 each. (BARGAIN!)

And just thought I'd add these two random things on, a pair of in ear Sennheiser's (£29.99) and a Black Cherry Yankee Candle (I think it was around £7, but sadly only seasonal)
^Both well worth the money! (I did get a slight discount on the headphones as I bought them at work, tehe!)

September + October Empties

At the end of September I was in France so it's gonna be a long one guys.. I'll try not to ramble too much!

Hair ..

1.Soap & Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo + Conditioner (My thought's are the same for both) - I never really liked the idea of using shampoo, conditioner or cosmetics from a brand who prominently make bath & body products. I was right with these too, the only thing the had going for them was they smelt nice (as you'd expect being from S&G) Repurchase? No.
2. Asda Dry Shampoo - This was in my last empties, just a refresher if you didn't see it.. It's amazing! Repurchase? Yes!
3. Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Morning After Dry Shampoo - Absolute rubbish! Doesn't do anything, and smells awful! Repurchase? Never.
4. Touch Of Silver (Purple Shampoo) - Does the job, takes the brassy tones out my hair when it's just been coloured. Bought this year ago and it's lasted so well considering it's only 100ml bottle. Repurchase? Probably.
5. Hair dye conditioner - Been in a few empties now. It's probably one of the only conditioners i can use and actually feel the results! Repurchase? As you can buy this aside from the full kits, yes.

Makeup/ Skincare (ish) ..

1. Garnier BB Cream - Did a seperate review on this as one of my first posts, and raved about it! It's probably not the best in summer (if you've ever tried it you'd know what I mean) But with a bit of powder on top it sits really nicely on the skin. Skims over imperfections and leaves you flawless, but wouldn't say it altered too much to a regular foundation, with how thick it is etc. Repurchase? Probably not, but do have another bottle + What I scooped out of this one to use.
2. Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser - Used to absolutely love this stuff! It was just perfect for my skin, I have recently found a better one but this is still a firm fav.. will endeavour to do a review soon. Repurchase? Yes, already have.
3. No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes - Love love love these wipes! Slowly making my way through a stash of make up wipes i have to do a comparison, aside from the price of these.. they are definitely the best I've ever tried! Gentle yet get rid of all make up (Including mascara), don't dry my skin out and aren't scented.. Just what I need, nice and simple. Repurchase? When the No7 vouchers are on, yes!
4+5 Tesco Value + Regular Cotton Pads - Both exactly the same but with a price difference, sadly I don't think you can pick up the value ones anymore, but if you can .. use them! Just cause they're cheap doesn't mean they don't work. Repurchase? Yes to both if available.

Misc..

1. Asda Moisture Bath Soak - This has also been mentioned before in previous empties posts. They're pretty much the same as Radox for half the price for a bigger bottle. It's a no brainer really. Repurchase? Already have.
2. Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green tea extract - I usually like Dove deo's, but wasn't as happy with this one. It was allright but did nothing special/ didn't have an amazing scent.. not as fresh as the original. Repurchase? No.
3. Dove Original (compressed version) - I keep this little'un in my hand bag/ gym bag for if i ever need it (you just never know) And if you know me you'll know this is my favourite deo. Repurchase? Yes, already have.
4. Sure (Compressed version) in the pink can - Did not like this one bit, again.. i'd be conscious of using this if i were going to the gym or something. And the scent was way too much, not refreshing .. just floral n yuck! Repurchase? No.
Colgate Sensitive Pro- Relief Toothpaste - Toothpaste is toothpaste to me, as long as it's minty and does the job. Although, I didn't like the texture of this one much (Random I know) but it was allright, not much to report on. Repurchase? Maybe.

1. Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life - Love love love!! This is definitely by far my favourite body scrub! It's not too heavy, or light.. somewhere nice in the middle, it doesn't leave behind the horrible oily residue and being S&G it smells amazing of course! Repurchase? Yes.
2. No7 Revitalising Hand Saviour (Hand scrub) - This stuff is a god sent if you have a hands on job like me. It leaves my hands ridiculously smooth without having to apply hand cream (win!) Repurchase? Yes.
3. The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel - I can't complain, it smells nice, lathers up nicely and it's a decent price. I don't have a lot to say about shower products really. Repurchase? Yes.

Hope this wasn't too much to share in one go, but was really chuffed I managed to finish so many things up!

Vicki x
